Dinner at Nan's house, followed a day of gardening (weeding and pruning mostly). Supercharged by his Chinese takeaway, complete with Gruffalo shoes, Master H raced around the garden, with his siblings and cousins. Meanwhile, we sat in the remaining warmth of the sun and looked on with a celebratory glass in hand. 45 this year, who'd have thought time would disappear in such a hurry?
