Fresh from the garden

My little feathered pal was unusually friendly today. The moment I started to dig a small border to clear weeds, this little fella turned up.
You can almost count on it that the moment I attempt anything in the garden this robin will turn up, cock its head to one side, seemingly interested in every move I make.
And I suppose that in a way he is, and today it was paying off for sure. The moment I stepped back he was down in the border itself, a quick dip of the head, and there in its beak was a freshly exposed worm.  Dinner!

But not satisfied with just one. He was back again in moments and repeating the exercise.
