Cornelius's flower

The day has been dull and showery so I was not unhappy to get on with bread making and a few other jobs.  I rang the bells in the morning as usual but my bell is a bit lumpy and needs some repair work to the stay (the wooden bar against which the bell rests when it is in an inverted position and which is often broken by novices who overpull.)  I got out for a quick walk between the showers and just missed a soaking.
