Dreich

Summer-wise, normal service has been resumed in Scotland: low cloud and rain most of the weekend. Provided an opportunity to do some housework with the distraction of identifying and communicating alternative routes for days 18 and 19 of the lady cyclists' trip. They have developed an aversion to navigating through large towns so traversing Lyon was out of the question. Hopefully I've found a route to the east and good enough directions for them to find their way. Hurrah for Google Streetview which allows me to say what roadsigns they will see at critical junctions, as well as verifying the the smaller "chemin" are not muddy farm tracks!
