Five star hotel!

Or at least this was, around 300 BCE. This is at Olympia, on the site of the original Olympic Games. This building with columns both on the outer rim and also inside to help with ventilation housed the dignitaries who presided over the games. The columns and other stones are made of local limestone.
Thus was our second visit here. Our first was over 20 years ago. Since then, there have been more excavations and they have reconstructed a couple of the pillars of the temples to show how large they were. The buildings collapsed in an earthquake around the sixth century.
