Mandy's photo journal

The weather f'cast could not have been more wrong!

An almost perfect day exploring Rhossili.
The 'all day rain' never materialised and the sun shone hot and strong as we walked along the cliff to Worm's Head. The tide times didn't match our visit so we couldn't go out on the headland but the views were spectacular.
After a coffee stop in the tiny unspoilt village we ventured down the steep cliffs to the most amazing beach I have ever experienced. I cannot do it justice by talking about it, and I struggled to choose from the many photos I took for today's Blip. But here is Jim exploring the wreck of the Helvetia which was grounded on the beach in 1887 during strong winds (everyone survived).
We walked and paddled, explored rock pools and sat in the sun. Jim even went in the sea and had a swim (albeit slightly by accident)!
Completely wonderful.
