Corpse Flower

Phipps Conservatory stayed open late so people could experience the Corpse Flower in full(ish) bloom.  I missed the peak smell (a combo of rotten eggs, decaying flesh, and feces... yummy) by about 12 hours, but I'm ok with that.  The top of the rather large bloom fell over, but they cut a hole through the side so you could view the male and female parts (male is on the bottom).  It was fascinating - and the rest of Phipps was gorgeous, as usual!
