Not helpful

When the cat isn’t stomping all over the keyboard or treading on the laptop so the lid shuts, she sits on my lap, resting her head on the corner of the keyboard or, as today, on my hand. Definitely not conducive to meeting deadlines, and I’m still struggling to meet mine.
 
Miserable weather, cold and damp, and one of the gutters overflowed all night onto the roof of the garage next door, making a tremendous racket. Wonder how long before the neighbours will complain.



I feel so sorry for our guests, they’re cheerful and making the most of it, but Rio with cloud and rain is not much fun. At least they didn’t seem bothered by the overflowing gutter…
