Got to photograph a dirt biking event today and conduct a bit of an experiment at the same time: using my Fuji mirrorless camera (with a kit 18-55mm) instead of my Nikons. I'd been told that these cameras don't do well with fast action photography. I think these rumors can be put to rest now (these shots are all straight out of the camera, with no post processing at all). Check the extras for more or go here.

On a separate topic: what a difference a day makes. Yesterday, I was celebrating diversity at a Pride parade with my son; today, that was used as an excuse for yet another hate crime and countless families affected forever. What will it take to come to our senses?
