Colours of the Alentejo

Again, huge dilemma to choose just one photo - the Alentejo is nothing if not photogenic...  We took our friend to the airport in Lisbon, and then meandered our way round the Lower Alentejo - this is the Santo André Lagoon, the largest in the Alentejo, with many species of birds, not that I saw many - was so tired, I lay on the sand and slept.

But one good thing about getting up so early - we've seen loads, and now in Grândola, a town we feel drawn to...
