Computers!

Successfully (with considerable help) upgraded to Windows 7.  Then spent time reloading files and programmes.  Currently reloading Office, which seems to have stalled at about 90% complete - no change in the progress bar for at least 30 mins - and it's time for bed.

I think I'll switch off and try again tomorrow.
