Backlight

My husband has taken to gardening this year (in his retirement) and has grown lots from seeds. These Cosmos, backlit by the evening sun,were one of his successes and they are lovely, they really give the garden some colour.

Its been a really strange year for growing, the cucumbers have just, at last, started to develop, now there is a bit of heat. The tomatoes are huge plants, but not many trusses as they have not set, I am presuming it is because a lack of insects to pollinate them due to the continous rain- does anyone know any different?
