Mostly Six Five Oh

Had a meeting first thing this morning with some neighbors re the ongoing 'issue' - it was helpful and disconcerting.  Helpful in knowing that we're all looking out for each other and disconcerting that some of their experiences are worse than mine.  Drafted an email to the neighborhood association.

I headed downtown - with a minor delay on the Broadway Bridge (the bridge was up to let the ships from Fleet Week through) - to meet Martin and Anne Dawe for a coffee and talk of Portlandness.  It was nice to hear how much they've both been enjoying their time here and it was fun to meet them - this has been an excellent year so far for meeting Blippers!

A lunchtime meeting near city hall.  And finally the day was rounded off with a visit to the vet with Dame Doyle (we're in a watch and wait on something) where she decided she wasn't letting the vet tech anywhere near her butt with the thermometer and kicked it out of the tech's hand.  Hilarious!

Time to sit down and watch game 5 of the Golden State Warriors v Cleveland Cavaliers.
