.....for a small katydid in a tatty rose but still providing cover from the worst of the weather. He's been there for a few days, taking it easy.

More de-cluttering today, this time in our outside room which is home to daughter E, she'll enjoy a little more space.

Another frosty morning followed by a bright blue sky, the washing almost dry - is this winter?!

And now as I type, a lovely sunset is happening, soft pink clouds against a dull blue sky, birds are calling and the air is cool. I can hear wood chopping from the neighbours while other's have had their fires going since 4pm. Roast chicken for tea tonight - yummo! :)
