Escape attempt

This evening we watched our recording of David Starkey's The Churchills, very clear and incisive. We never once thought of resorting to subtitles. Coincidentally it covered the period of history to which this plaque refers. I took the picture when I went on my regular stint of patchwork instruction in Faversham. The brewery, now Shepherd Neame, is still in business.
