Rose by flash

The sun was shining at 7am but it was raining before 9am and has been showery ever since.
Spent half the morning arranging insurance for the new car and the rest catching up on the housework.
I'm doing a cross-stitch for a wedding so the poor weather enabled me to get a good chunk done and it also made trying out the flash a good option.
I had several bouquets for my retirement 2 weeks ago and they have lasted well though are "going over" now, this rose is in one of them.
