Maggie's Poppies

I noticed these poppies yesterday evening as I walked up the road to my Photo Club meeting. I'd hoped that the weather today might give me the opportunity for a trip out but as the afternoon progressed it seemed unlikely that there would be much of a gap in the rain. 

That being the case, I walked up the road again for the poppies. Looking closer, many of them seem to have gone over but a close up on this one with its raindrops seemed to do the trick. Lets hope for better weather tomorrow!
