What's Up, Doc?

I took Russet to the vet today, as she has a hard lump on her side which seems to have increased in size. It doesn't bother her at all, but it seemed a good idea to have it checked out.
The vet took a sample of blood and said she would phone me later when she had had a look at it under the microscope.
The waiting area was very busy with cockerpoos, Yorkies, cats and a labrador. As we came out, it began to rain very heavily. Russet did not want to get into the car!
After a few (very wet) moments, she got in, and we drove back through an amazing downpour. I was glad to get home!
The vet phoned as promised - she wants to take another blood sample to send to the lab, but today's wasn't suitable.
So we have to go back and repeat the experience! Ho hum!
