French Flashback 3

23 June 1998, St Etienne, France

I went to France 98 with 3 friends, and this is us with some of the people we met there.

This was taken just before the Scotland v Morocco game at the Stade Geoffroy Guichard. If we'd won, we would have moved on to Marseille to play England. We lost, heavily, and were knocked out of the tournament. With hindsight, probably for the best!

We left for home the next day, and I haven't laid eyes on most of the people in this pic since. That was, to date, the last game Scotland played at an international football tournament.
