Heydon Hall

Aggie and I met for a walk around Heydon village, then had a cheese scone (9/10) and cup of tea at the tea rooms. An extra treat as who should ride in on a bicycle, complete with wicker basket on the front? None other than Alan Bennett. We let him enjoy his Yorkshire tea and Victoria sponge in peace, without staring, pretending that we hadn't just seen this living legend but delighted that we had!
