Carwash

This was BEFORE.

Before he kicked his brother's football into a neighbour's garden and refused to ask for it back. Before I issued an ultimatum I wished I hadn't. Before he then swore at his brother and I didn't pretend I hadn't heard. Before I told him I was cancelling his pocket money for this week. Before the laundry basket was thrown downstairs.

I miss the days when running a bath and flinging a grumpy overtired child in it with a squirty submarine made everything right.

Work was lovely though... Oh and I got a marriage proposal. From someone fundraising for the RNIB. My boss pointed that out FAR too quickly. Made me smile a lot.
