School Kids at the V&A

Our Boston flight arrived this morning in London. Our hotel room (near Earl's Court) was not ready, and we paid a visit to the nearby Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) The surprisingly good weather lured many into its large courtyard, including this  group, apparently from the Greenleaf School (the jackets are just partly legible).

A happy surprise at the museum was a large and superb exhibition on Paul Strand (1890-1976), one of the best American photographers of the last century (it was organized  by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, but we didn't get there for it last year--so good to see it here). Here's an extensive web page with many images from the show (though mixed with some other things).  The afternoon was mainly devoted to a nap.
