Sir David Baird's monument

This monument stands on a small steep hill at Trowan, near Crieff. Among many other compliments, the inscription says "His private virtues are embalmed in the hearts of his friends."

Mrs P and I enjoyed our walk out from Crieff along the Earn and back via Laggan Hill, despite the indifferent weather.
