Vigil for Orlando

After a good day at the day job, I joined friends in St Andrew's Square for the vigil for the people whose lives were taken in Orlando. It was lovely to see many friends there, gay and straight, united in love

There were many excellent speakers including the First Minister saying she stands shoulder to shoulder with the LGBTI community. Two choirs sang and ended with this - https://youtu.be/PSZxmZmBfnU

As the photo indicates, it rained. The rain seemed to become steadier and heavier as the event went on but it didn't deter us.
