On Display

The wind continued this morning but has eased slightly now.   Still sunny.

Nearly full attendance at our Ladies coffee this morning - lovely to have a bit more diverse conversations.

Al was in a panick this morning - his battery had run down on his phone and as it is new and he does not switch it off, he could not remember the pin number.   So off to Movistar in  Santo Domingo and the girl had it resolved in no time!

As you can see we have been bowling this afternoon, but not until after the England/Wales game.   A good result for England - a shame someone has to win when they are both home Nations.

We are trying an alternative venue for the summer in one of our two local Hotels in Almerimar.   A smaller room, but easier for everyone to get to and the air con is better!   The advantage is that we can bowl all summer as the Stadium closes for the summer.   The reason we went today was because the Hotel are wanting to promote it as an activity for the Hotel so we all went in our Club strip and the guy in the picture was taking our photos.

We will see how things progress as we need more members and may get better interest there.
