Sailing Barge Race

Well ... a very good early morning and plenty of usable shots taken.

There were 7 sailing barges at the new Pontoon , getting ready to race from Cliffe and out to sea and back.
Unfortunately they do not sail to the start but use the onboard engines.

I received an unprompted "Good Morning" from someone behind me at the end of the Town Pier ...I turned round ..and it was Griff Rhys Jones .. walking up the pontoon and onto one of the Barges.I guess it was a case of one man on a boat
I had plenty of opportunity to snap him but it didn't feel right to even ask as i presume he was there to enjoy the race.

Anyway .. all in all a good morning.:)
