Day 169/16. Ants farming Aphids.....

A nice summers evening, Gin and Tonic in one hand, macro lens and camera in the other.
Nature is pretty amazing. Here are a colony of ants farming aphids on one of our Blueberry bushes. Its a mutually beneficial relationship...the ants protect the aphids from predators, the aphids are 'milked' for ther honeydew. Quite amazing and in a garden near you......you just need to look.
