Rottnest Island...our view

This view is of Thomson Bay in the main settlement area of Rottnest Island.

As mentioned in yesterdays blip we are over on the island for a 4 day break.

In the distance the white building is the Quokka Arms, the old Governors residence, and now the local hotel and a favourite most of the day, particulary after 4pm when the last of the day trippers have left the Island.

In winter there a few boats on the island. In summer all the green bouys in the front bay will have small craft moored.

Its a great Island and we enjoy just being here and chilling out
