I went to Haddington today to buy dollars for Eilidh going to California. My first stop was the Post Office to buy the dollars. She had smashed her terrimundi pot on Thursday night-a grand total of £275 in pound coins. The lady at the post office wasn't happy about counting the coins?? Part of the job I thought? Then I went to the bank to pay the rest into her account. The lady at the counter directed me to the machine in the blip to save her counting it! Funnily enough it didn't work so she ended up having to count it anyway!!! I suppose cash is on its way out !
