Going Back To Nature

Wildflowers and olive trees are taking back many abandoned hamlets in Corfu. This one once had 6 churches and 3000 inhabitants

Nowadays, a few people are returning to Old Perithia (thought to be the island's oldest settlement) hoping to attract tourism by restoring some buildings. At the moment, nature seems to be winning.
