Velvety goodness

Another horrible day of very heavy showers has left me without much of a blip :-( I did go out briefly this afternoon to look for a very rare wild flower, but sadly couldn't find it so I am afraid you will have to make do with one of my garden roses instead! 
That said it is a very nice garden rose, rich in colour and with a beautiful scent, and a worthy blip in it's own right.
