Edinburgh Quay Canal Festival

Grand so it was, and after four days of constant dreich the sun came out! It was met with a spontaneous burst of applause, thereafter it was a glorious day. Met an old blipper and met a new blipper, good to see them both, you can see them, riddled with Weil's disease probably, carrying off their coracles (top right).

Refreshing though it was to be at an event seemingly unencumbered by health and safety. No edge barrier into the canal, children on unseaworthy vessels without life vests, and Japanese street food (the latter is without foundation - it looked odd, but potentially delicious)
