Persevere

A lovely walk along the Water of Leith in the sunshine with the family and an old friend.  On the way back, saw again this message carved into the ground.  Leith's motto is not a grand gesture or lofty goal, but simply this: persevere.   

In these worrying (and indeed sometimes dreadful) times, I felt somehow more optimistic for seeing it.
