Someone has nicked...

... the nick!

Back in 1985 Orpington opened a brand new police station. In 2013 it was closed and today it is a hole in the ground. Some 80+ flats will replace it. 

Hopefully all the new residents will behave themselves because the nearest police station is now in Bromley. 

This was the last station I served at before specialising. Past stations included Chislehurst, St Mary Cray, Biggin Hill, Blockley and Lewisham all of which have been closed down. 

I guess there must be an App now that replaces them...
