Akala

Regular visitors to this page will know two things about Africa Oye.  First, it's always brilliant and second, it always throws up a surprise.  So no surprises there then.  Glorious day in the park and the sun shone brightly for what I would reckon, again, was a record crowd in an expanded site.  Surprising then, that I got into a Hip Hop act.  Not my thing at all.  Usually.  Akala is an intelligent, thought provoking kind of guy.  His final song had me pretty much rooted to the spot.  If you can't be arsed clicking the link, then ponder this : "The only way we can change anything is to look in the mirror and find no enemy"  

That'll do for me as a rallying call.
