The news today was just awful. Like so many others, I wept for Jo Cox, for her little boys more than anything and all the time that was stolen from them. Heartbreaking. And pointless.

Spent some time with a friend who is also facing up to heartbreak and prayed, hoped, for better times ahead.

And then home to pack.
