This morning Mario & I went for a drive around the peninsular, all the way to Taiaroa Head, where we had a look at the information center/gift shop/cafe.
Taiaroa Head is the home of the Royal Albatross, which is endangered. We saw some flying overhead, and they're huge!

( the extra photo shows Taiaroa Head, with the lighthouse in the distance).

The weather was cool, but sunny, and made the drive all the more pleasant.

We drove back in to Dunedin city and had some lunch, then headed home.

My photo is of a boat, which was hoisted up next to the water at Harington Point.

It's good to be home - I missed the fur children terribly, especially Pippysue.
