Colour craze

A grey start to the day was certainly brightened when I arrived at the Tasman Youth Council's Colour Craze event. 

In the words of the organisers......

''...similar to muddy buddy except with powdered paint and a lot more colorful!"


"...event will mirror the Holi Spring festival held each year in India with a 2.5km Colour Run/Walk. Prepare to look like a rainbow by the end!"


And they weren't wrong!  Great stuff - lots of kids of all ages, lots of colour. lots of laughs, lots of friendship.  I suspect they're onto a winner with it.


And just as the event ended, a few rain drops began to fall.  Perfect timing or it really would have been a full-colour muddy buddy!
