Spotted Orchid

Set off on a bike ride this morning to encounter heavy traffic on the way to a Modified Car Rally at the Showfield. Ended up cycling along a path to preserve life and limb. Grateful to get back on quieter roads when I hit traffic going to a Classic Car Rally at Castle Howard! Memo to self check the list of events before leaving home.

The Orchids in the wood are just coming into flower. Couldn't resist this one which was a darker deeper colour than the rest.
