Boats and Boulder

It was a dreich day going over to Tarbert for the monthly Constituency Association meeting but the event itself was very well attended.

Coming back the rain had set in, the mist had lowered onto the hills and the rain had started in earnest.   We waited for the ferry , which was late, in the little shelter on the Tarbert slip along with a group of cyclists who were doing the "five ferries" challenge and who had chosen the wrong day - certainly compared to sunny yesterday.

I liked this moment when a local fishing boat sped back into the harbour , the days work done,  whilst a yacht made a more leisurely way out, both masked by the greyness of the afternoon.
