Lunch

We both felt a little tired this morning, and it was really cold on the race course so we headed into York in search of some breakfast. We found a cafe and had a simple breakfast then I wanted to have a look in the wool shop in the Shambles. So after buying some wool (she didn't have the needles size I wanted) and the purchase of some ginger tea and delicious cakes we headed back to the rally.

The rest of the day was spent moochy around the trade tents. We didn't buy much - there wasn't that much too buy. The rally had a rather sad feel to it. I think it was very spread out and not a lot of people about. These two caught my eye and are typical rally goers

We went back into York for dinner - eating at  Yak and Yeti - a Gurkha restaurant. The food was yummy and very filling. We met up with some people we had met last year in the beer tent back at the rally and spent the rest of the evening chatting with them
