R-34

Fathers Day is always bittersweet. I miss my darling Dad every day but on those days when it seems the whole world is celebrating, it can feel more raw than ever.

Took a moment to look through the photo albums and here is his visiting the exhibition for the R-34 - one of the very few RAF airships, which he flew in as a serving officer. What an experience that must have been. Real daredevil stuff!
