The first thing I thought of was the local magpie population which are hounding the smaller birds.  But to my even greater  annoyance I was unable to take a shot at the only one I saw today!!  Grrr!

So to go to something that annoys me even more and that is static and therefore far easier to photograph - WEEDS!  Here you see the remains of some Iris and lots of weeds!  Maybe I'm more annoyed at myself for not getting on with the weeding rather than at the opportunistic weeds!
