A colleague said to me that the Red Arrows were going to fly over Edinburgh Castle at 12:30 as part of the opening ceremony build up.

And they did.

Blink and you'd have missed it. In fact, I missed the shot of them coming over the Castle!

Oh - I think Danny Boyle did a fantastic job.
