Sunset on Leith

Each year I try to get a sunrise or sunset photo on the shortest day but never seem to manage.  This morning it was cloudy so when the clouds dispersed in the early evening I was hopeful of getting a summer solstice sunset.  It was unfortunate that at the time of the setting sun, clouds had appeared to the north and west so this is about a quarter of an hour beforehand.  The eagle eyed might notice Edinburgh Castle to the left of Arthur’s Seat with some of the taller buildings of Leith beside the Firth of Forth.  The extra is of the clouds to the west as I walked back home but the sky three years ago was more attractive.
