Framed...

I've been watching these himalayan poppies growing in a nearby garden, and in fact have taken several pictures over the past few days (enough so that the owners are no-doubt deciding whether to call the police).

I love poppies and these ones are particularly nice.  I also liked the effect of the bars around them and the way it frames them so neatly.  So I was delighted when Significant Other pointed out that their proper name is framed meconopsis.  I've decided to pretend that this was my plan all along.
