Fox!

Here we are on the longest day, and summer has only just officially begun. So hopefully there are lots of lovely summer days still ahead, even though from now on they will be getting shorter.

Our Pointer has been very excited about something he spotted in the garden, and this evening I saw the reason: a young fox cub, still quite small and obviously born earlier this year. It's not the best photo, but it was all I could snatch before he/she darted away!
