Mom's Menagerie

Visiting my mother this evening and this little fella caught my eye.

I'm not sure if I find him cute or sinister. What do you think?

I'm also deflecting my attention away from an emotional farewell from some students today. This obliged a particularly lovely card and message which I've only been able to read once so far.

I'm sure I'll mention it again at some point but for now, it's a little too soon.
