Free Guardian Delivery

Up and logged on in time to press the button as soon as the online Book Festival sales were open. I still ended up at number 1500 and something. By the time I got to the front that young Joan Bakewell had sold out. Ach well, Richard Holloway it is then.
And then another online experience - the first Waitrose delivery to the new gaff! Tarra! And who should spring from the delivery truck but Burdensome Steve! Yes indeed, an old colleague - we retired at the same time nearly seven years ago. It was just a temporary Christmas job but he quite took to it. And he delivers all over North Edinburgh and even over to Fife. But only as far as Burntisland, apparently.
So, to the evening and a viewing on the monster TV of August: Osage County which I missed when it came out. And I loved it; one of Streep's best surely. In recent years anyway. What, even better than Mamma Mia you ask?
