Le chateau de Josselin

Following a late night yesterday watching the entire Olympic opening ceremony, we had a lazy day at the gite today reading and watching the cycling. After the excitement and ultimate disappointment of the cycling we headed out to Le Camp de Rouets, a cute little medieval motte and bailey on the edge of the village that I had stumbled across a brief mention to in a tourist brochure.

We then went on to Josselin for dinner in the square which was very lively due to a literary festival taking place. There were lots of authors seated at trestle tables plying their wares, although all the books were in French so it's back to Karin Slaughter for me tonight.
